This a trailer for the now quite popular show Jersey Shore on MTV. As you can probably grasp from the trailer itself, the show really has no point, plot, or story. It is purposely designed for the audience to be curious about what is going to happen. The target audience would have to be young adults, even watching the trailer it promotes sex, dancing, drinking, smoking, and much more. This may be one of the reasons it is so appealing to young American adults....

Digital Media Project... Obsession with Reality/T.V. Shows....

Hey everyone,

After careful debate, I have concluded that I will be talking about popular (and sometimes ridiculous) T.V. shows, such as Jersey Shore, Vampire Diaries, The Secret Life of an American Teenager, The Hills, The Bachelor, Sixteen and Pregnant, American Idol, America's Best Dance Crew, The Buried Life, Jackass, Wife Swap, and much more ;).

Some of the above shows are downright ridiculous, but we tend to have a sort of obsession with then anyway. In my blog this semester in Comm 366, I will be deeply analyzing and discussing the topics touched in these shows, and why we seem to have such an obvious interest in them.
